All profits from the ERSC membership are invested in the game, so as a member you’ll be helping the development of rugby in England.

Rugby union is played by a complete cross section of the community, with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) responsible for around 2.5 million enjoying rugby at:

  • 2,000 rugby clubs
  • 3,200 members school
  • 6,800 non-affiliated schools
  • 200 colleages and 130 universities

Helped by a volunteer workforce of more than 60,000.

In 2013 the RFU invested £63.7m directly with clubs and in operating the English game at all levels. All profits made by the RFU are invested in the sport at every level.
